Justice Alexandre Luiz Ramos

Alexandre Luiz Ramos was born on December 24, 1967. He graduated in Law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in 1992. In 1993, he was approved in a public tender to Substitute District Labour Court Judge of the 12th Region (Santa Catarina). In 1998 he was promoted to President-Judge of the Board of Conciliation and Trials of Xanxerê. As a District Labour Judge he also served in the regions of Chapecó, Araranguá, Imbituba, Itajaí, São José and Florianópolis.

On December 12, 2016, he joined the Regional Labour Court of the 12th Region (Santa Catarina), in which he had already served by intermittent calls since 2007.

He has a master's and doctorate in Labour Law, both from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where he was Assistant Professor from 1995 to 2003. He is the author of books and scientific articles.

As the strategy and goals manager of the Regional Labour Court of the 12th Region, he coordinated the National Strategic Management Committee of the Labour Justice, with seating in a Committee on the same subject in the National Council of Justice (CNJ).

He joined the Superior Labour Court as Justice on April 4, 2018, in a spot aimed to the judiciary career, due to the retirement of Justice João Oreste Dalazen.

He is part of the Special Body, Subsection I of Specialized Section in Individual Bargaining (SBDI I) and the Fourth Chamber. Member of ENAMAT’s Advisory Board for the biennia 2020/2022.
