Justice Dougas Alencar

Douglas Alencar Rodrigues was born in Goiânia (GO). He  graduated in Law from the University of Brasilia (UNB), specialized in Constitutional Law at the University of Brasilia (UNB) and Master in Law from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP). 

He was approved in the public tender for admission into the Substitute District Labour Court Judge career of the Regional Labour Court of the 15th Region, in 1990. He joined the 10th Region magistrates rank, by legal exchange, in 1992 and joined the Superior Labour Court as Justice, in a spot aimed to the Judiciary career in April 22nd, 2014. He was indicated by TST to compose the National Justice Council (CNJ) during 2005-2007.

He was the President of the Association of Labour Court Judges of the 10th Region (Amatra X), Vice-President of the National Association of Labour Magistrates (ANAMATRA) and Vice-President of the Association of Brazilian Magistrates (AMB). Member of ENAMAT’s Advisory Board for the biennia 2020/2022. Professor in graduation and post-graduation courses for the IESB University Center.

He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Labour Law (ABDT) and the Brazilian institute of Constitutional studies (IBEC). He is currently the ENAMAT’s Deputy Director.
